PURPLE HEART – naturally colored purple wood from South and Central America.
No stain applied!

This tropical hardwood is harvested from South and Central America. Though very hard and dense, the purple color polishes well to a high gloss finish. The color may fade to brown over time – much more quickly if exposed to direct sunlight. Not reported as a threatened species.

This high quality quartz insert has a solid brass case sealed with a flat glass lens in the front and a stainless steel back cover. Replaceable battery included.

BUBINGA– naturally colored brown-red wood from Central and Western Africa. No stain applied!
a.k.a. "African rosewood"

This tropical hardwood is harvested from Central and Western Africa. Known for its brown-red with black-purple streaks, this wood finishes to a beautiful brown luster. Does not appear to be an endangered species.

This high quality quartz insert has a solid brass case sealed with a flat glass lens in the front and a stainless steel back cover. Replaceable battery included.

LACEWOOD– naturally colored and figured wood from South America. No stain applied!

This tropical hardwood is harvested from South America. The unusual spots or streaks (fleck) are a result of the way the lumber is cut from the log. Quartered (the growth rings running perpendicular to the face), the saw slices through the trees medullary rays (horizontal nutrient carrying vessels) resulting in the amazing spotted patterns. Does not appear to be an endangered species.

AUSTRALIAN MALLEE ROOT – naturally colored brown-red wood from Western Australia.
No stain applied!

An eco-friendly material, these roots are harvested dead from the deserts of Western Australia. The amazing color and figure are a result of horizontally slicing into the root ball where the roots and trunk are intertwined.

This high quality quartz insert has a solid brass case sealed with a flat glass lens in the front and a stainless steel back cover. Replaceable battery included.
